Can Jenson Button help Williams??

The Williams F1 team recently announced Jenson Button as their senior advisor. So why Jenson Button? Who is he? What expertise does he have to help them? Here's a little information about Jenson Button. Jenson Alexander Lyons Button is an ex-F1 world champion who was born on the 19th of January, 1980. He is the son of the former rallycross driver, John Button. Jenson Button received his first F1 drive from Williams in 2000 making him the youngest British driver, at the time. After securing the 6th place in the Brazilian GP, the second race of the season, making him the youngest ever driver to ever score points, at the time. In the first-ever F1 season he qualified as high as 3rd place and his highest race result being 4th place. In 2003 he scored his first podium with the BAR F1 team in Malaysia. The new member of the Mecedes junior programme: Fredrik Vesti

The Mercedes AMG junior programme does not support as many drivers as the Ferrari Driver Academy or the Red Bull Driver Academy supports. But they bring many great and talented drivers through the ranks. In the past Mercedes has supported Pascal Wehrlein and Esteban Ocon among many other big names. The most popular and successful driver currently in the Mercedes Programme is George Russell, who is a part of the Williams F1 team. Mercedes recently announced that they would be signing Frederik Vesti to their junior programme. Frederik Vesti is a Danish driver who was born on 13th January 2002. For those of you who don't follow the junior formula categories; in 2019 he was the first-ever champion of the Formula Regional European Championship. In 2020 Fredrik Vesti competed in the FIA F3 championship for team Prema, coming 4th in the driver's championship with 3 victories and 4 podiums. Imola set to make a return to the 2021 F1 calender.

Similar to 2020, 2021 season has caused some uncertainty, with rumours that the Australia GP and the Chinese GP might be postponed or cancelled. Guess what those rumours are now confirmed! With the Australian GP now set to take place in November, the Bahrain GP will now be the season opener. And due to the travel restrictions imposed in China, it will also have to be postponed or cancelled. With the future of the Chinee GP being uncertain the Imola GP is now set to return. For many years now, we F1 fans and drivers alike have asked to bring gravel traps and old school circuits. The racing and thrill of seeing F1 cars go around the likes of Imola, Mugello, Portugal and Istanbul in 2020 have caused the hunger to grow. Breaking News: Cyril Abiteboul announces his departure from the Renault F1.

Cyril Francois Roger Abiteboul has shockingly announced his departure from the Alpine/ Renault F1 team effective immediately. He is highly rated by various Renault personal. Luca de Meo, the current CEO of Renault, had the following to say about Mr Abiteboul, " I would like to warmly thank Cyril for his tireless involvement, which notably led Renault F1 team from the penultimate place in 2016 to the podiums last season.
