In 2014 Cyril Abiteboul announced his departure from the Caterham F1 team and rejoined Renault Sport F1 Group as their Managing Director.
In Cyril's complete reign as the Managing Director, the team managed to score a total of 4 podiums.
- 2015- Romain G stood on the 3rd step of the podium at the Belgium GP

Here's a funny story:
Danial Ricciardo and his boss Cyril Abiteboul placed a bet that he would have to get tattoed if Danial managed to score a podium. Thorugh the course of the season, Danial scored two podiums. This bet also received a lot of public attention hence leaving him no other option but to get a tattoo.
