The Tale of the Three Rookies

In 2021 three rookie drivers will be making their debuts, Mick Schumacher, Nikita Mazepin for Haas and Yuki Tsunoda for Alpha Tauri. People who do not watch the F1 feeder series might not know a lot about them, so here is a little information about them.

Mick Schumacher

Full Name: Mick Schumacher

Nationality: Germany

Birthday: 22nd March 1999

Driver Academy: Ferrari Driver Academy

Car Number: 47

In 2020 Mick was crowned the World Champion of the FIA F2 Championship. In 2018 he was crowned the World Championship of the FIA F3 championship.

Yuki Tsunoda

Full Name: Yuki Tsunoda

Nationality: Japanese

Birthday: 11th May 2000

Driver Academy: Red Bull Driver Academy (He is also a part of the Honda Formula Dream Project)

Car Number: 22

In 2019 he competed in the FIA F3 Championship and the Euroformula Open Championship where he finished 9th and 14th respectively. In 2020 he competed in the FIA F2 Championship and the Toyota Racing Series, where he finished 3rd and 4th.

Nikita Mazepin

Full Name: Nikita Dmitryevich Mazepin

Nationality: Russian

Birthday: 2nd March 1999

Driver Academy: N/A

Car Number:9

In 2019 he finished 3rd in the F1A Asian F3 championship and 18th in the FIA F2 Championship. In 2020 he finished 5th in the FIA F2 Championship.

He is a driver who has already experienced the shark tank of the world that is Formula 1, even without entering his first race yet. He has been involved in many scandals before and has been labelled by some as “the bad boy of F1” like James hunt in the 1970s.8 But he has also been praised by many to be a rapid and talented driver, including Vijay Mallya.

George Russell to Mercedes? Here's a little insight into his career.

Recently there's been a lot of speculation that: 1.George Russell is going to replace Valtteri Bottas in 2022. 2. And also that Mercedes would announce their full British lineup of Lewis Hamilton and George Russell at the 2021 British Grand Prix.
