Williams announce a new Team Principle

Simon Roberts the current team principal of Williams announced that he is gonna leave the Williams F1 team, with CEO Jost Capito taking on the Team Principal role.

Simon Roberts (born 27 September 1962) is the ex Team Principal at the Williams Racing Formula One team.

Simon Roberts recently announced that he is leaving his position in Williams Racing Formula One. He joined McLaren as a general manager in 2002. He worked there until in 2020 Roberts announced that he was the new managing director for Williams. On Williams announced Roberts as its new managing director.

Recently Williams announced that Jost Capito, the CEO of Williams will take on the role of Team Principal, while the trackside leadership duties will be transferred to Technical Director Francois-Xavier Demaison. Capito has been employed in various roles during his 30-year career, with his most successful role being Director of Motorsport at Volkswagen.

From his previous jobs or experience we can trust him to take Williams back to the top of the grid, where they belong!!
